Testimonials
Drs. Simon and Petruska’s Rehab Advanced Standing Series program is packed with useful information that helped me to prepare for the American Chiropractic Rehab Board’s (ACRB) oral practical exam. I highly recommend taking this seminar series if you want to learn to think like a rehab doc and understand what is required to achieve your Rehab Diplomate status (DACRB). Thank you both!

5 stars!! Tons of pertinent information from Dr. Jerrold Simon and Dr. George Petruska. Both extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with you especially during these crazy pandemic times. If you take the course, read, listen and participate, you will likely pass the ACRB exam without a problem! The ACRB exams were not easy by any means, but these instructors provided the information which helped prepare you to take the exams. Thank you gentlemen, I’m excited to have my first diplomate!

Kevin L. Kaldy, DC, CCSP

The Rehab Advanced Standing Series program was an invaluable part of my Rehab Diplomate examination prep. I was able to pass both online examinations and both oral practical examinations on the first attempt without issue. With the training Doctors Petruska and Simon provided, I felt thoroughly prepared. I give this training my highest recommendation and would encourage anyone seeking to pursue the Rehabilitation Diplomate credential to sign up for this program!

Aaron Armetta, DC

This Rehab Advanced Standing program as taught by Drs. Jerrold Simon and George Petruska has provided me with the most current up to date knowledge on numerous rehabilitation procedures. This has been extremely helpful with respect to working with patients. These new rehabilitation skills have helped me to acquire a new level of skill and has afforded me the opportunity to take on greater levels of responsibility which has ultimately led to improving patient care. This program has also been excellent in preparing me to take the rehabilitation diplomate exam. I would highly recommend this program to any CCSP or any DC wanting to learn more on how to implement rehabilitation to their practice.

Without the Rehab Advanced Standing Program, I can honestly say that there would be no other way that I could have made it to DACRB status. Dr. Simon starts off the modules teaching in a "no-nonsense" type of way that gives you facts and information. Dr. Petruska wraps up the modules by going through the concepts and giving you real life scenarios while challenging you to incorporate them into your day-to-day practice. Both of these methods were invaluable to be able to retain information and pass both oral practical exams on the first try. I would encourage anyone looking to obtain their DACRB to take these courses!

Benefits of Certification on becoming a Diplomate in Rehab (DACRB)
  •  You cannot be a consultant on many insurance panels without being a diplomate.
  •  No other doctor is allowed, by ACRB bylaws, to do a review of your bills without being a diplomate, with the Board being oversight for excessive bill cutting by consultants.
  •  The Board is currently working to get tiered reimbursements for certified and diplomate rehabilitation doctors.
  •  More insurance companies will, and are, following Medicare’s guidelines for therapeutic care – “passive modalities are to be used for 2-4 weeks maximum without therapeutic (active rehab) care.” This means that Medicare will only allow a few weeks of modalities without the patients becoming involved in the rehab care process. When this is applied to all insurances, reimbursement will be greatly curtailed without rehab as part of the care program.
  • Medicare is looking at adding full coverage to chiropractic benefits, but will require board certified doctors only for many procedures, the same as MD’s. This is something that the Board and College will stress.
  • You have a higher degree of defensibility, in the event of a malpractice case.
  • You have a greater degree of expertise when testifying in court.
  • Your Rehab Board and College are continuing to work on providing more benefits and access to care options and will continue to do so. In the past seven years, the ACRB has grown to become one of the largest and most progressive boards in chiropractic.
  • You will receive a 10% discount with Meyer Distributing.
  • Your name and contact info (such as address, phone #, e-mail, website link) will appear on our active registry, which could be a potential referral source.
  • Most importantly, you will receive the knowledge to better serve your patients and get a higher level of reimbursement at the same time.
